The fabric over ten different colors covers 10,000 square feet of a field, under the hot sun for four hours.Villagers in the Narayanganj district, Bangladesh dye the material by hand, creating more than three million pieces a year. The cloths are then sold at markets and are often used in garment factories making women's dresses which sell for less than three pounds.
