Prairie Song
Xinjiang, China. June 2019 at about 19:00 in the evening, dark clouds rolled over the grassland. Soon, it rained heavily. After a while, the rain stopped and the sun came through the clouds. The sun shines on the ridge, and two herdsmen galloping across the ridge. The curve of this grassland is very beautiful, just like the back of human body. The ups and downs of the ridge were like staff on a music sheet, and the horses are galloping on the staff.

The Village
On my first visit to this famous beautiful Múlafossur waterfall by the village of Gasaladur, there was almost no water in the fall and sunset was just hazy and pale with the sky completely clear. As my schedule was very busy, I thought I won't get a chance to visit this place again but I had 1 free evening on my last day in Faroes. The second visit was much better. There was a few fast rolling clouds, much more water and there was some nice light shining on the Gasaladur village. I used a long exposure to capture this lovely cloud movement.

Autumn In The Snowfield
Autumn of 2019 on the Taklamakan Desert in Xinjiang, China. After a long drive crossing the desert from one dune to another, I suffered visual fatigue, but the minute the vehicle reached the summit of a huge dune, the Populus diversifolia with golden leaves suddenly came into my eyes, I was amazed by the tenacious beings and the magic power of nature!

The Dancing Mangroves II

Studies of the Dancing Mangroves

The silhouette of mangrove trees that twist like dancers makes Walakiri Beach on the Indonesian island of Sumba a unique phenomenon and the silhouette of mangrove trees looks truly artistic and photogenic from all directions.

Sand Patterns
Tidal flats are coastal wetlands formed in areas where there is a sufficient supply of fine-grained sediment and tides dominate over other hydrodynamic forces. The tidal signal is reflected in the zonation of the morphology and sediment distribution patterns in the intertidal zone. The vertical sedimentary sequences thus formulated are characterized by a fining upward pattern. This photo was taken at very low tide. Usually all the sandbanks are covered under water which level rises up to 10 meters at high tide.

Catalonian Wonders
When arriving at this location, I was happy to realise that the place was empty and I was the only one there. And when I saw the small hermitage on top of the narrow ridge with huge vertical drops on both sides and emerald lakes down below, I knew I had found the right place. The best composition was fairly obvious so I took my time and shot the same scene with varying light throughout the night. Strong backlighting with the sun being higher behind the clouds worked best on this occasion. This is a panorama of 5 images.
